Try fetchmail, formerly known as popclient. Fetchmail says it supports
APOP, though I'm not in a position to test it. Fetchmail is available in
the contrib tree at Redhat.

BTW, fetchmail in daemon mode often fetches the same mail over and over
from my IMAP server. This doesn't happen when I invoke fetchmail for
successive one-time checks. Has anyone else seen this, or is my IMAP
server buggy?

Thanks,
Kyle Ferrio
