With the BT-948 & BT-958 you don't have to bother, they both have
active termination, now the BT-958D is another story. It has on
board terminators to set both 8bit & 16bit terminations. However
since I seem to remember from the beginning of this thread that
it was definitely a BT958 card the card termination is not a
anything to worry about, just make sure that both ends of the
bus are terminated, assumming you are using both internal and
external devices.
There is one thing that I haven't seen anyone mention and that
is SCAM, you might want to try turning that 'off', if nothing
else works.
