Hi I'm using an SMC Etherpower 10/100mb PCI card on 2 machines. I'm
trying to get the best performance I can with these cards and I'm not
having very much luck so far. Here's the situation.

I have 2 machines, one with a NE200, which is my network connection, and
it also have the SMC in it, then I have my other machine with the same
exact SMC card in it. They are connected by one T1 shielded crossover
cable. I altered tulip.c to initialize the cards at 100mb, full duplex,
and recompiled, installed etc.

Now when I have them set at 100mb, I seem to get slower response then at
10mb. I've used ttcp to measure, as well as tcpblast, and it's just
terrible.

Can someone please point me in the right direction, tell me what I'm doing
wrong, or just suggest something to try or whatever.

If more info is need. Please just tell me.

Thanks
Jeremy
