I am a new Red Hat user and I'm having new-user problems. I have sent
questions to support@redhat.com, and I have gotten help. So far it hasn't
solved my problem, but I'm getting responses, and they are pertinent.
I expect they are submerged in requests, and it has taken 4-5 days, as
I was warned, to get responses. I think I am getting what I paid for,
and I am not dissatisfied with them. I am also trying to bring my
questions to this list, so I can take advantage of others' experience
instead of feeding that back eternally into support@<etc>. I expect most
of my problems are in this category.

It is actually quite risky for a small company to suddenly reach a large
number of new customers, who need support. More than a few companies
have crashed on that kind of "success." Better hope they survive this
situation, and go on to a long corporate life.

Thanks for the help given through this list. --john mills--
