I've got a quick ? along these lines as well. I've got two old macs in
the closet here (an SE and a LCIII) both of which have only the appletalk
connection, no place for an ethernet card. I have thought about trying
to network them to a Linux box just for experience. What kind of
hardware is needed to "transform" the Mac's Appletalk connection to
something the Linux box will understand?
