Folks:

When I run lilo to put the lilo information to the floppy drive,
(I boot from /dev/fd0 with my root partition on /dev/hdc6),
I keep getting this error:

Warning: BIOS drive 0x82 may not be accessible

followed by instructions that say to go run

/usr/src/linux-2.0.18/scripts/MAKEDEV.ide

to correct the problem. Of course, I did that, and it didn't help.

I read the ide.txt file, but that didn't tell me anything useful.

any info or direction to a FAQ is greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Clint
