Please don't tell my P150+ that! I've got an IBM 686P150+ that runs just
fine under a pentium optimized (and standard) kernel (pretty damn fast,
too -- 121 +- bogomips with pentium kernel). /proc/cpuinfo reports it as a
486 (linux 2.0.2x), but what do I care. It still compiles kernels in =~
5 minutes.
My only gripe is that I got it as a package deal with an AMI BIOS
motherboard that won't let me turn off the the APM on the IDE drives
(intel Pixie chip). It blows in windows when my 2nd and 3rd IDE drives
spin up and down every 15 minutes or so. Basically stops the machine for
about 5 seconds. ;)
