Yes, sure... try to convince it that the parallel ZIP drive is to be
reassigned... it complains that it is a removable unit and aborts the
change (one wonders why the CD letter can be changed, though)

Whenever you update Linux's kernel, you should run Lilo again so that
it updates its loader map. Failure to do so could (I'd say the odds
are 50-50) result in a non-bootable system.
