Sorry about the line length issue, here it is again, I sent the last msg with
mail.
I have having some serious problems that have just started to happen with
uugetty. I was running 2 lines no problem, with a boca io/at66 6 port board. I
had then installed 4 more modems, (sportsters 33.6 ext) and then the can of
worms opened up.
I get INIT string errors logged into the getty.log file. The system comes up
file and the modems are activated at startup but no init string is sent. I added
DEBUG=010 into the gettydefs file, and it attempts to send the init string to
all 6 lines, but FAILS!?!??! how is that possible. On top of that, all the
modems start into a continous reboot process (like I typed 'init q' at the
prompt).
I have a init file called conf.uugetty (standard/default for all 6 lines).
I am at a total loss for why the modems wont init and why they keep re-starting
the uugetty processes.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
