Not true.
Programs linked with ANY libc of major version 5 will automatically use
whatever version you have installed on your system.
netscape is compiled with libc 5.0.9, and needs that to run (or the GNU
malloc). For more information on getting netscape's java to run, visit
http://www.blackdown.org/
Of course, it would really be nice if netscape would just fix all the bugs
in their programs ;-)
