Never mind the screens stuff -- that's probably for actual separate
monitors. That was stupid, sorry.

I also found out that I need to use the + and - on the numerical
pad for Ctrl-Alt +- to switch modes; using the regular +- (via shift) does
not work, for whatever reason.
