Hi
I recently upgraded a working diald and PPP 2.2.0f from RedHat 3.0.3 to
RedHat 4.0. Much to my chagrin, though, it no longer works. It dials out
and makes the connection, but no traffic passes through. I tried
telnetting to my host using the numeric address, but nothing happened.
After about 1 minute my connection closes up, and diald restarts the
call. I've also tried this without diald (just running the script) and
get the same results. The stickler is this all worked before
(flawlessly?) and now it no longer works.
Any ideas guys? For the record, I had kernel 2.0.21 when I installed RH
4.0, and after a recompile I'm still using it.
