Leigh - 
   Admittedly I called the netcfg applet by the wrong name (sorry). Still,
I have yet to get it to _ever_ successfully connect for me. I'm very
pleased that the applet works form (apparently) many people - and I'd
rather like to know why I'm apparently special. 8-(.

   I'm on my way back through the HOWTO and PPP-TIP and man pages as a
double check of something obvious. Or unobvious.
