I'm also having the same problems using the device stcolor for my Epson Stylus
printer.
I have updated to ghostscript-4.01-1 and updated to ghostscript-fonts-4.0-2 but
when I print to lpr this is what gets printed
Error: /invalidfont in findfont
Operand stack:
CW 1000 Coureir-Latin1 basedict Courier 142726 --nostring val
and a lot more error messages.
