I have a Zoltrix 33.6 Voice/Speaker Phone Modem.
I am getting no response from it at all.

I have set up a ppp connection with appropriate phone
numbers username and password and initiated the modem to
be at cua3(Com4 in Dos) using the Control Panel in MetroX.

When I activate the ppp connection nothing happens.
I know the modem works because I can use it in
windows95.

1.) Are there any init/config files I can use to tell Linux
about my modem and what should I put in them?

2.) Are there any ways to querry the status of my modem?

3.) Is there any way to see exactly what devices Linux knows
about?

Thanks in advance,
Tom Vrana
