In my case (NT after Linux, with Lilo running NT/DOS loader), NT would
boot but all drive letters would be completely rearranged (wanna bet
how many programs stop working?).
I found out, in a MS knowledge base article, that NT puts its
"innocent" signature in an area officially belonging to the boot code,
so that Lilo overwrites it every time it updates its map.
So fare my only solution has been to place Lilo on a floppy... tried
writing to Lilo's maintainer but to no avail.
Bye bye.
