Hi. I've read the kerneld howto, but still have a few questions.
Why is it that despite the fact that I compiled my aic7xxx support as 'Y'
during 'make xconfig' it still tries to load it a runtime? It also does
this for my 3c509.
Should I always say yes to the following during a kernel config?
# Loadable module support
#
CONFIG_MODULES=y
CONFIG_MODVERSIONS=y
CONFIG_KERNELD=y
How do I update to later kernel versions? There aren't any
patch-2.xxx.rpm files on redhat...
from a i386 redhat newbie, thanks.
