Quick Compaq Question

Good day,
A client of mine will be going to LiNUX in the near future. The server
is a Compaq Prosigna VS, I am assuming I will have to dump the main
board w/ with Netflex Ethernet card on it... The SCSI controller is an
NCR710... I belive that sucker will go too. But, I would like to keep
the 4mm DAT Python Archive tape, the DEC 1.2GIG and the Compaq SCSI
CDROM... They also have an APC SmartUps 600... Any comments on this
hardware assuming I put a new network card in, and a new scsi
controller... Thanks.
