Hi.

I'm running kernel 2.0 with module support for the ufs filesystem, which I
assume includes Solaris. The solaris 2.5 partition is on /dev/hdb2. When
I issue this mount command:

mount -t ufs /dev/hdb2 /solaris

I get this error:

mount: wrong fs type or bad superblock on /dev/hdb2

I am assuming that the ufs filesystem support in Linux 2.x is for solaris X86.
Are my assumptions wrong?

Thanks for any insights into the matter.

Mark
