FTP Client crashes on "lcd"

Hey all,
This is probably old news. But anyway, I installed RH 4.0, and noticed
that the FTP client core dumps when you say "lcd" for the current local
working directory. NOTICE: this only happens when you give no
arguments - just "lcd" by itself.
Is this old news?
