No idea why NT is babbling about a NULL printer driver.
No idea what to do about that.

However, you clould always use smbclient as the filter for your 
Linux printer queue to send it to the NT box.  Maybe you should invest in a 
switch-box not for sharing the printer but just while you set it up :)

PS: I'd be very grateful if you would post/make avaiable a summary of how to do 
all this when you get it done, it might make a good addition to the Printing 
HOWTO.
