Look, it's no big deal.

Netscape 3.0 crashes when loading java applets if you're using libc 5.3.12,
which redhat 4.0 ships with. There's a workaround on
http://www.blackdown.org/Howto/Howto-2.html that fixes the
problem. Basically you place a script in your path that sets the library
path towards your newly-downloaded libc 5.0.9 and then launches
netscape. Took me twenty minutes to setup, including download time.

It's no big deal,
