Well, knews is good at this too. It displays jpg and png if the
mimetype header is correct. Also, it looks at the mailcap and the
mime.type files andcan thus display or start all kind of applications
for this. I'm using it all the time. It's good looking, Fast and
small. The last thing I would ever start is Netscape for reading mails
or News ...
