Abdulla,
As I told you before, LPT1 in windows could be lp0 or lp1 in Linux. The =
IO address is different in the system depending on your motherboard =
configuration. Did you run lptest > /dev/lp0 ;
lptest > /dev/lp1? The one print the test ASCII line is your device. Use =
that on the control Panel printer config. where it ask for the device =
and choose the filter that match you printer. Don't forget to reload lpd =
and maybe your printer, this could be done from the top menu in the =
printer setup.
