After being pointed to /proc/sys/kernel by a serendipitous post on the
caldera user list, I think I have discovered why I have a nagging problem
with pine.
Doing a 'cat /proc/sys/kernel/hostname' correctly returns my host name.
However, 'cat /proc/sys/kernel/domainname' returns "(none)".
I believe that this should be set to my domain - sometime during the boot
procedure, but obviously this is not occurring.
Could someone tell me where it is set and how please?
