When installing the XFree86-3.2-1.i386.rpm package file, it failed
checking the dependencies:
libXi.so.6, libXIE.so.6, libXtst.so.6, libX11.so.6, libXext.so.6,
libXICE.so.6, libSM.so.6, libXt.so.6, libXmu.so.6, libXaw.so.6,
xinitrc.so.6
Once these files are part of the package, there is something wrong with it.
Also, the new (much improved) X setup program XF86Setup is not in any of the
rpm packages.
The server specific rpm packages (like XFree86-SVGA-3.2-1.i386.rpm) contains
many general files and not only the server specific program(s).
What was wrong with these packages? How have they been built? Has the same
XFree86 3.1.2 spec file been used?
Any help?
Thanks.
