Then I start up applix and it gives me too many files open. Then
this morning it hung up. I waited a long time several minutes and
nothing had happened and then I killed it. It didn't have any
messages in the tmp or fft foldes in axMail and also the file in
var/spool/mail was gone.

Does anyone have an idea why I am getting the too many files open
error?

Thanks
