Hi,
Just got ControlPanel working. Surprisingly easy
was to setup a PPP connection with netcfg tool...
In modem initialization string, I typed AT&F. Then
clicked "activate". The following I saw in my xterm:
Red Hat Linux netcfg 2.12
Copyright (C) 1996 Red Hat Software
Redistributable under the terms of the GNU General Public License
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup: F: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-ppp: F: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown: F: command not found
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown-ppp: F: command not found
(I still had PPP running in 10 seconds after getting
the errors above)
So, I had to change my AT&F back to ATZ and I never got
that again.
