I think you should wait until RedHat makes an RPM of
X 3.2, I heard someone saying that it would be ready
on Monday.

You should do:

rpm -e metroess (to make sure you're not using it)

Then you should d-load your X server RPM and Xfree86
RPMs (you have to figure it out yourself which one, 
depends on your videocard). Then you type:

xf86config

as root, answer all questions what it asks. Then you
will need to make a symlink. Suppose, 
your X server is called "YourXserver". Do:

ln -s /usr/X11R6/bin/YourXserver /usr/X11R6/bin/X
