Since a few people had problems with RH Motif and StarOffice beta2, I
thought I would post this recent message from the StarOffice news group.
Cheers,
-sen

Hello,
In reference to the posting
Re: Beta 2 and Motif libs
about the 'libMrm.so.2':
The work-around of Peter Teichman to use the dynamic link
library libMrm.so.2 of the Lesstiff project:
ftp://bobtech.dorm.duke.edu/pub/lesstif/libMrm.so.2.0
works fine!
I really don't know how StarDivision was able to link their
beta2 to 'libMrm.so.2' dynamically. I understand that no
Motif provider, adds this dynamic link library to its
distribution.
Further on, I really don't know what it's used for. What
functionality is in 'libMrm.so.2'?? I myself have MetroLink
Motif 2.0. Must I consult Metro Link, because they should have
included this libray (the dll-version), in their Motif package?
Besides all this, I think StarOffice only checks the existence
of this libray, at installation time. Performing a ldd of e.g.
swriter3 results in:
root:141$ ldd swriter3
