I just got Redhat 4.0 setup yesterday and
I can say it is quite good...I used to be
a diehard slackware user in the past...and
the rpm utilites make bug fix upgrades a
snap.
A couple of problems have cropped up I have
yet to resolve...
The backspace doesn't work in netscape and
other applications in X. I used to have a
similar problem in slackware but don't know
what I did to fix it.
Secondly, netscape seems to give bus errors
intermittently. It never was a problem in
the past in kernel 1.2.13.
Also in netscape, how do I specify the size
of the mail and news windows. They always
pop up larger than the size of the screen.
I used to have this problem in slackware too
and I think it was only with fvwm95-2.
Also i am curious if anyone has did a rpm
version of netscape for download. I know
it is easy to install but I want to use
as many rpms as possible.
Thanks
Prasanth
