Your /etc/resolv.conf is just a text file. It should look like
search interweft.com.au
nameserver 203.29.72.65
nameserver 203.29.72.3
nameserver 203.29.72.5
(changed to reflect your domain name and servers. Create is with a text
editor and make it
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 95 Oct 30 10:37 /etc/resolv.conf
