Thanks for the help...its never too late. I've only been using
Linus since 3/96 and the terminology still gets me. The HOWTO's
(some of them) _assume_ more than they should (for beginners).
I ran a multiline WildCAt BBS for years and am familiar with
modem communications under DOS, sharing IRQ's, etc. I liked
doing that, but I LOVE Linux!!! Its is a challenge and very
flexible. Just got too much DOS left in the brain....
I hope to install the card today, but I want to watch a couple
of ballgames today and if I get started, I will tinker ALL day!
