This is normal...it doesn't need the device once it's mounted.

Chances are that you didn't burn everything correctly.  You need the
entire contents of the CD for the most part, with RedHat/instimage
being the most important.  Either you don't have it, or you don't
have the permissions set correctly for install2 to execute.
