** just joined the list **

I am attempting to build RPM on SunOS and Solaris. The
big hitch seems to be the dependance on libdb.a on Linux.
Neither libgdbm or libdbm seems suitable as a replacement
and building libdb from linux sources creates more problems
 than it solves.

Has anyone solved this yet? Suggestions?

 Thanks in advance,

 -stewart
