Anyone running Maelstrom?

I downloaded Maelstrom-2.0.0beta11-1.i386.rpm and installed it.
When I execute the program Maelstrom it gives me an error
saying it cannot find the sound driver. Does anyone know what is
wrong and how I can fix it?
Also, does anyone run Xboing? When I run this program the speed seem
too fast. Is there anyway to slow it down?
