AMEN to that.  I am consulting for a llargish ISP, and want to move them 
all to Red Hat, but X would be a waste of space, time, and effort.  Also 
remote X over dialin (for management purposes - NEVER xboing ;) is SLOOOW.

dialog or newt based versions of the control panel applets would be a 
FANTASTIC thing.  Perhaps, i can take a look, unless someone who already 
has a clue about them, and who actaully HAS time wil (please do).

I would have no hesitations about running RH4+ on EVERYTHING, then. 
Otherwise, Iuse my own kludgy scripts and stuff..
