here is what i did for my bj200 ...
make sure ghostscript and nenscript are installed
configure local printing queue
with control pannel
add|local|:
lp|ps|Postscript|Canon BJ-200ex (postscript)
/var/spool/lpd/lp
0
/dev/lp1
filter:bj200|360x360\letter
edit /etc/printcap and add:
--
:sh:\
:sf:
--
without the above chenge i also get garbage...

with the queue name set above, you just need 'lpr file.ps' since ps is the
default queue (lpr -Pps would work too)... nenscript should recognise
postscript from regular ascii files, so lpr will work with both...
