I have been using RedHat 3.0.3 successfully for about six months. I have an
Adaptec 1522A SCSI card (I know, big problems). My partitions are on a Syquest
removable and a secondary hard drive, both SCSI. I boot Linux using a boot
floppy, then type linux aha152x=0x340 ramdisk=0 root=/dev/sda2, which works
great.

Well, when I try to upgrade, it can't find the SCSI controller, and thus any of
the partitions, and I'm stuck. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm only
moderately Linux literate. Thanx in advance.
