The ftp install is finally working. What I wound up doing was using
DOS's fdisk and I deleted the two non-DOS partitions, leaving the FAT
hda1 partition alone. Then when, during the install, I chose to edit the
partition table I set them back up. Only this time I put the 30M swap on
hda2 instead of last on hda3 as before. I put the native partition on
hda3. I can't believe it is working. I don't know which one did it...
Using DOS fdisk or switching the partitions around. I know that simply
repartitioning with linux fdisk wouldn't work because I had tried that
already. Man I'm glad that one's over. Thanks for all the help.
Especially Erik. Cheers!
