I haven't seen anyone else mention this in the archives so I thought
I'd ask here.
I was using the Net Configuration tool to try to get PPP working on
my 4.0 system. Used it to set up 'hosts', 'nameservers', 'ppp', etc.
I never got PPP working but when I was done playing for the night I
turned off 'start ppp at boot', deactivated the ppp deamon, clicked
on 'save' and quit the NetCfg program.
The next day when I tried to restart NetCfg from the Control Panel
I could here the hard drive accessing for a second and then nothing.
All my other control panels still work, but NetCfg won't come up in
X-windows. I tried to re-install the NetCfg package, but it still
won't open.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Todd
