xdm bug in 3.0.3?

I recently upgraded to 3.0.3 with a 2.0.0 kernel. Now, if I try to
initiate a remote X session from my hp-ux box at work to my linux
box at home with X -query linuxhost, I get the xdm log on screen
followed shortly thereafter by a continuous stream of
"Xlib: Client XX not authorized to connect to server at local:0.0"
messages. If I redirct stderr of the X command to /dev/null everything
seems to work fine. Whatsup wid that?
