One thing can be stated for sure. Using "dd" for copying disk partitions
is _not_ a UNIX solution. UNIX file systems originated from the McCusick
BSD file system have built in knowledge of the disk geometry to build up
cylinder groups. In these file system will cause a complete disaster on
disks having different geomtries even though the partiotion sizes were
equal.								Incze
