1.  Hunt around a bit more, and install the bxforms-0.81 rpm.  It's the 
more recent version of xforms; I believe you'll find it in contrib.  
I'm not sure _what's_ in the .src. rpm.  Can't be the actual source; 
the xforms people will _not_ release source.  One of the reasons that 
the LyX team is planning a shift to the Qt package from Troll is that 
Troll, while not GPL, releases source for X & unix, and actively 
supports the free software idea.
