I am trying to turn my Linux box into a bridge. I have installed Redhat 4.0
in a 486 DX-33, with 20 Mb ram. I have a 3Com 3c509, and a Wavelan wireless
NIC. I have compiled bridging and both drivers into the kernel, but it
still doesn't work. When I boot the kernel, it comes back and says
"Delaying eth1 initilization" I have tried all sorts of append statements,
including:

append="ether=0,0,eth0 ether=0,0,eth1"
append="ether=0x330,5,eth0 ether=0x300,0,eth1"
append="ether=0,0,eth1"
append="0x330,5,eth1 ether=0,0,eth1"

All with the same results.

I have also tried to initialie it after booting, with "ifup ifcfg-eth1" and
it still delays initialization. How can I get it to initialize?
