Greetings...
Now that I have gotten PPP to work I am a little stumped as to why the
IRC client that seems to come with RH 4.0 only works with ROOT.
In MetroX I added a new user 'dave' and gave 'dave' full system wide
premissions. However it seems that 'dave' still cant do all the fun 'root'
commands and use scropts that are for 'root'.
Any insight how I might fix this?
Also I downloaded Netscape 3.0 for linux, uncompressed it, untared it,
and then while I was in X in a xterm I tried to use netscape like this
./netscape, now it brought up a nice netscape browser then about 30
seconds later I get a message Bus error? Am I running this program
wrong? I've never used X so it would suprise me if I am not doing something
right.
