A couple of things I've noticed recently....

The 4.0 distribution has a couple of (in my environment) bugs...

1) perl5 seems to be compiled in such a way that it will not handle
setuid/setgid scripts. I ended up grabbing the latest perl and recompiling,
and everything was fine, but it doesn't appear to work out of the box. I
suspect it's a simple option in the configure when compiling perl.

2) procps-1.01 has a small bug in it on large systems, where it will segfault
when run 'ps -aufx' with too many processes running. The bug is due to the
slightly different memory handling in libc-5.3, ps leaks slightly. I had
the patch for it, but it seems to have gone missing :( I'll dig it up
sometime if it's wanted...

Oh, and my xlock doesn't work after running pwconv5 - presumably it doesn't
handle shadow passwords too well?

Other than that, everything is running nicely :)
