This doesn't exactly qualify as relational, but then I have seldom
relied on auto relational features.  Personally, I am impressed with
/rdb by Revolution Software <www.rdb.com>.  rdb is unique because it
acts as an extention of the shell allowing database access from scripts. 

Note:  the reference manual is a good UNIX manual but they also publish
and excellent reference work on database programing.
