Hi

With some help (and reading what I had typed as opposed to what I
*thought* I had types), I am now in the position that I can print ASCI
text OK to a Windows NT 4 printer set up using the LPD server that comes
with NT4. The printer is a HPDJ 850C.

This works great for ASCII files, but if I send a formatted print job on
Linus through the gs filter and then out, I get garbage.

Does anyone here have any experience of this sort of set up?

Getting colour printing to all the machines is turning out to be a BIG
problem (I would put the printer on Linux and print using the NT4 lpr
system - but the WinNT4 lpr seems not to work...)

sigh...
